Guglielmo named interim dean of UCSF School of Pharmacy

Joseph Guglielmo, PharmD, has been named interim dean of the UCSF School of Pharmacy, and will take the reins of the school from outgoing Dean Mary Anne Koda-Kimble, PharmD, as of July 1.
Guglielmo is an internationally recognized expert in the clinical use of antimicrobials and has served as chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy since 2006.
In her email to the UCSF community announcing his appointment, Chancellor Susan Desmond-Hellmann, MD, MPH, highlighted Guglielmo’s many contributions as an educator, clinician, clinical scientist and leader to the field of pharmacy and the School’s pre-eminent stature.
