  • Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination

    The Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination is the campus body responsible for fielding and resolving reports of discrimination at UCSF.

  • Office of Ethics and Compliance

    Employees and students can report complaints of bullying/abusive conduct or whistleblower complaints via email at [email protected], by calling 800-403-4744, or submitting a complaint via the UC Whistleblower hotline/EthicsPoint portal.

  • Student Mental Health and Wellbeing

    Student Mental Health and Wellbeing is a resource for UCSF students navigating personal concerns, identifying options, reducing stress, and solving problems. SMHW offers confidential counseling and psychiatry services to registered students. Learn about mental health options. During business hours, students can also call 415-476-1281 to schedule an appointment. For after-hours support including weekends, press option 2 to speak with the consult line.

  • Faculty and Staff Assistance Program

    UCSF offers confidential employee assistance services for personal and work-related issues through the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program. Support is offered for a wide range of issues including work-related stress, relationship/couple issues, family problems, depression, anxiety, or other emotional problems, grief and loss, alcohol, drug and other addictions, consultations and training services for faculty and staff management.   • Office of the Ombuds

    Office of the Ombuds serves as a confidential resource for all members of the UCSF community (faculty, non-faculty academics, staff, administrators, students, post-doctoral fellows and other trainees). The Ombuds will listen, help identify options, make inquiries and referrals as appropriate, and/or facilitate resolutions in an impartial manner. The Office of the Ombuds supplements and does not replace or substitute formal grievance processes made available by the university.   • Care Advocate

    Campus Advocacy, Resources and Education (CARE) provides free, confidential support to any UCSF affiliate including students, staff, faculty, post-docs and researchers who have experienced interpersonal violence such as sexual assault, dating/intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, or stalking, or retaliation related to participation in an OPHD complaint resolution process. You may speak with the CARE advocate confidentially about your experiences and receive emotional support and resources. CARE can be reached at 415-502-8802 or [email protected].

    Disability Management Services assists employees with issues regarding their disability.

    Student Disability Services serves, supports, and empowers UCSF students with disabilities by ensuring equitable access to fully and holistically participate in all areas of the university experience.
