Support the School

Giacomini

Kathy Giacomini, PhD, BSPharm

Our work is redefining what it means to be leading scientists and pharmacists in today’s world, advancing health science and improving each patient’s care with a focus on equity and outcomes. This mission requires partnerships across academia and the public and private sectors—and with donors whose support is critical to the pace and progress of our work.

Consider partnering with us through a gift to the UCSF School of Pharmacy. Your gift will help us:

  • Drive the research behind the development of precise medications, medical devices, and diagnostic tests.

  • Ensure that each patient benefits from the best, most precise and effective medications that are prescribed in full consideration of the patient’s overall health, lifestyles, and social and economic situations.

  • Prepare graduates who are distinguished worldwide, through the transformation of our PharmD curriculum and the support of our PhD and postdoctoral programs.

Contact our development team to learn how your support of the UCSF School of Pharmacy can ultimately support the health of people everywhere. Thank you.

Regards,

Kathleen M. Giacomini.

Ways of giving

There are many ways of giving to the UCSF School of Pharmacy, such as annual giving, corporate and foundation giving, employee giving, named endowment and facilities giving, planned giving through trusts and bequests, and tribute giving.

Endowed faculty positions

Endowments provide sustainable funds for the School in perpetuity. They support students, fellows, specific areas of research, and general needs. They also support faculty members with exceptional potential and, at higher endowment levels, honor faculty members for their accomplishments and continuing success. Endowed faculty positions are often used to help attract scientists and clinicians to UC San Francisco.

The School is pleased to present its endowed faculty positions, along with current and past recipients.
