Scientists explain how they are making therapeutics “intelligent”

UCSF scientists from the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences and UCSF School of Pharmacy Dean Mary Anne Koda-Kimble, PharmD, spoke on June 23, 2009 about how their research is aiming to make therapeutics sophisticated, highly effective, and tailored to the different needs of individuals. The audience for their luncheon presentation in downtown San Francisco included advisers to clients engaged in making gift decisions related to estate planning.
