What I do

My research interests include post-marketing drug safety addressing the health and economic impacts of adverse drug events, drug shortages and interchangeability of therapeutic alternatives, and appropriateness of prescription and utilization patterns of pharmaceuticals, particularly, opioid analgesics, antipsychotics, and systemic antibiotics. The overarching goal of my research is to enhance prescription drug safety and improve patient outcomes while containing the cost of care.
