Join or donate to Heart Walk to honor colleagues and save lives

UCSF is participating in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk fundraiser to help support the AHA in its goal of creating a world free of heart disease and stroke.

Two teams closely affiliated with School of Pharmacy are walking this year to honor two very special colleagues who passed away:

  • Noelle De Leon was an outstanding critical care and cardiology pharmacist. She wore her heart on her sleeve and always went above and beyond to care for her patients and help her colleagues.

  • Michelle Johnson worked as a physician assistant for UCSF Oncology Clinic. She dedicated 23 years of her life to research and health care.

Both Noelle and Michelle were loving friends, colleagues, wives, and mothers, and our teams walk in memory of these beautiful women who both had a great passion and special interest in improving heart disease.
