What I do

As the regional experiential education program director for Southern California, I work with key stakeholders to identify and facilitate creation of strong rotation opportunities for students completing Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences. In addition, I collaborate with the assistant director of experiential education to ensure the quality of Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences in Southern California. Trained as a PGY1 and PGY2 ambulatory care resident, I have clinical experience in both transitions of care and specialty pharmacy, notably cardiology. I currently practice in the Care Transitions Outreach Program to facilitate medication access after discharge. My research interests include ambulatory care and experiential education, and I have a passion for preceptor development.
