Shalini Lynch, PharmD
What I do
I am a Clinical Pharmacist at Mercy Medical Group in Sacramento, California. I provide medication management therapy services in a pharmacy clinic, I participate as part of a multi-disciplinary team on a Geriatrics consult service, and I support our clinic's transitions of care and medication utilization programs. I precept Sacramento APPE students on an Ambulatory Care rotation. I am a Faculty contributor to the Medi-Cal Drug Utilization Review program team.

Shalini Lynch, PharmD, CGP is Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor of Pharmacy at UCSF. She has been a faculty member at the UCSF School of Pharmacy since 2004. Her practice expertise includes drug information, drug utilization review, medication therapy management and geriatrics. Her focus has been cost effective medication management programs in a medical group setting, including target drug programs for providers and individual patient consults to minimize out-of-pocket medication expenses. She supports the UCSF School of Pharmacy in its role as academic subcontractor to the Medi-Cal Drug Utilization Review program for the state of California.
