Vogt discusses patient safety efforts

Eleanor Vogt, PhD, RPh, is interviewed in the Journal of Health Affairs about the role of the pharmacist in patient safety efforts.

The article, published November 5, 2018, brings together all the threads that point to an important conclusion; i.e., that “as long as patient safety, reducing hospital readmissions, and combating the opioid epidemic remain nationwide concerns, the role and authority of pharmacists within our healthcare system are likely to expand.” Please send this to all your policymaker friends in Congress!
