In my role as research administrator, I am responsible for effectively managing PIs’ portfolios by updating projections in PLUS, running financial reports, verifying the accuracy of monthly ledgers and ensuring spending is in accordance with sponsor terms and conditions, providing guidance on award terms and policies, ensuring accurate funding distribution, tracking payments, reviewing/approving reimbursement and BearBuy requests, and maintaining updated Other Support pages. I also work with different groups such as CGA, OSR, and ICD to submit required financial and progress reports, close-outs, and correspond on Just-in-Time, No-Cost Extension, and carry-forward requests.
