2017 Byers Award Lecture in Basic Science
Danica Galonić Fujimori receives 2017 Byers Award
Byers Award recipient Danica Galonić Fujimori, PhD will discuss her research in a seminar titled “Unlocking the Mystery of Antibiotic Resistance.” The talk will be followed by a community reception featuring interactive research exhibits on antibiotic resistance.
UCSF Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS, and Brook Byers, founding member and partner of Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers, will give opening and closing remarks.
About the Byers Award
The Byers Award is administered through the Program in Breakthrough Biomedical Research (PBBR). Following a competitive call for nominations, the award is given to a mid-career faculty member for an innovative research project. The recipient is asked to present their research at the annual Byers Award Lecture.
