Pharmacy and law students debate conscience clauses

Whether or not pharmacists or pharmacies should be legally allowed to refuse to dispense medications is the cause of current state and national discussion and proposed legislation. At center stage are contraceptives. Speaking out are right to life and pro choice advocates as well as pharmacists, pharmacy owners, legislators, and attorneys on both sides of the issue. University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy students and law students from the University of San Francisco (USF) will explore the conscience clause issue on Tuesday, April 19 at an open forum on the USF campus.
