Kendall Gross, PharmD
Critical Care Pharmacist
Pharmacy Informatics
What I do
I work as a critical care pharmacist practicing in the medical/surgical intensive care units at UCSF Medical Center. My interests in improvement work and high value care led me to a role in the Medication Outcomes Center where I conduct research and quality improvement work. My specific research interests are in pain, agitation, and delirium management and the role of technology in promoting safe and appropriate medication use. I am particularly interested in how we can use the electronic health record (EHR) to increase the adoption of best practices and collaborate with others in the medical center to operationalize new medication therapies and decision support within our EHR.
