Karen Hamblett

I’ve always been a conductor. Whether the ensemble has been my high school orchestra or the administration of Clinical Pharmacy at UCSF. I love to coax the best out of everyone on my team as well as myself. Using my strong Indiana rooted work ethic and genuine interest in others, I listen and observe, then focus on strengths of individuals and teams to determine how resources can be used for optimal outcomes. What makes me most excited is to inspire others to attain their own personal fulfillment. Using a mix of humor, empathy, and flexibility I engage people around me to make things better for our department and school, so we ultimately affect positive change in our wider community.
