Interpreting the evolution of SARS-CoV-2: a QBI/Gladstone seminar with Jesse Bloom
The QBI & Gladstone Institute Infectious Disease and Human Health Seminar Series presents Jesse Bloom, PhD, a professor at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center and an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Dr. Bloom’s group uses a mix of computational and experimental approaches to study the evolution of viruses. A major focus is using high-throughput techniques to systematically understand the functional and antigenic effects of mutations in order to better interpret and forecast viral evolution.
