As a Program Coordinator, I manage the UCSF-UCB Joint Bioengineering Graduate Program and I provide administrative support for special projects in the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences.

I teach and precept pharmacy students and work with underserved populations at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. My research focuses on the clinical application of cardiovascular pharmacogenetic tests and pharmacoepidemiology.

My lab develops molecular biotechnology to overcome technical hurdles that prevent us from effectively understanding and treating disease. We're particularly interested in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disease.

We seek to bring chemical reagents to biology combining computation and experiment. Using molecular docking, we discover new ligands that fit protein structures. Using a ligand-centric approach, we find new targets for known drugs and reagents. A focus for both is ligand discovery for GPCRs.
