Award applications open for faculty Biohub research investigators

Once every five years, the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub offers several $1 million Investigator Awards that aim to accelerate the pace of scientific discovery. Citing pandemic demands, the deadline to apply for these awards has been extended to May 14, 2021.

Successful applicants will join a community of biomedical researchers spanning disciplines and the campuses of UC San Francisco, UC Berkeley, and Stanford University.

The awards are open to faculty members in all areas of biology, biomedical research, and technology development, including areas well outside the scope of the Biohub's intramural research programs. Applicants are encouraged to submit their “most exciting, risky, and innovative ideas.”
