UCSF to join the 2022 Heart Walk on September 16 in San Francisco

UCSF has again partnered with the American Heart Association (AHA) on their annual AHA Heart Walk, which will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 in San Francisco at the Embarcadero Plaza.

The UCSF School of Pharmacy community is encouraged to participate, especially if you or your loved ones have been impacted by heart disease or stroke.

UCSF has set a goal to raise $50,000 with 30 coaches and 300 walkers. Over the past 18 years, the university has raised almost $500,000 for the AHA through the Heart Walk.

To sign up for a team, or to create your own team, please visit the AHA website.

If you have any questions, please contact: Eveline Stock, MD, ([email protected]) or Desi Kotis, PharmD, ([email protected]), and copy the AHA’s Teresa Morris ([email protected]).
