Nancy Nkansah, PharmD, a faculty member in the UCSF School of Pharmacy, appears with Mehmet Oz, MD, on The Dr. Oz Show to caution consumers about 5 over-the-counter-drugs that are often misused.
- Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS)
- Antihistamines
- Proton pump inhibitors
- Acetaminophen
- Multi-symptom cold and flu medicines
