Jeff Beck, MBA

I manage all financial resources in the Quantitative Biosciences Institute including budgeting, purchasing, and reimbursements. I oversee post-award management for QBI’s grant portfolio of $10M direct cost including several NIH center grants, conduct monthly and annual reporting, and partner with Research Management Services on progress reports and proposal submissions. I collaborate with the QBI Director and Chief Operating Officer on partnerships with other UCSF departments, the Gladstone Institutes, and other research affiliates both domestic and international. Lastly, in a supporting role for the School of Pharmacy Dean’s Office, I serve as the project manager for the School of Pharmacy Financial Dashboard project.
