Donald Kishi, PharmD
Associate Dean and Professor
What I do
As Associate Dean, I mentor, advise, and work closely with School of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy students and faculty members to monitor and support the successful progress of students in the PharmD program who entered in 2017 and before. I advise student organizations including the Associated Students of the School of Pharmacy, the Academy of Students of Pharmacy, and Community Outreach Student Alliance, and I provide guidance and approval for student community health events. I work closely with the UCSF Pharmacy Alumni Association to ensure a close and continuing connection between our alumni and pharmacy students. I co-coordinate the School’s education training partnership with Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences and carry out special projects for the Dean and Vice Dean.
Recently, I received the UCSF School of Pharmacy Alumni Association's 2017 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year and the UCSF Alumni Association 2019 Dedicated Award.
