Cynthia Watchmaker, MBA, MEd
Associate Dean of Student Affairs
What I do
I lead the development and implementation of comprehensive student affairs programs and services for School of Pharmacy doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) students aimed at creating an environment that promotes student success. Through the Office of Student and Curricular Affairs, I provide leadership and management of student affairs and PharmD program administrative operations in the areas of outreach and recruitment, admissions, academic advising, student services, career and professional development, student wellbeing, and co-curricular activities. I serve as a resource on PharmD student issues for the faculty, and for campus and external partners. I lead the integration of professional success content into the PharmD curriculum, and I collaborate with students, faculty, and staff members to foster a positive learning environment for PharmD students.
