Program Completion Requirements
These are the minimum requirements for completion of the UCSF PharmD/PhD combined degree program:

Completion of all requirements for the PharmD program

Completion of all requirements for the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics PhD program, including:
- Completion of all required coursework for the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics PhD program (Note: Student pharmacists will identify coursework that may be taken as part of the PharmD degree either in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Pathway or as electives)
- One quarter service as a teaching assistant
- Rotations in at least 2 different laboratories
- Pass a comprehensive oral examination at the end of all PhD coursework
- Complete a written dissertation.
