To become licensed to practice pharmacy in a state other than California, you must meet the requirements for licensure for that state's board of pharmacy.
For contact information for other state boards of pharmacy, see the Boards of Pharmacy Roster on the NABP Web site at http://www.nabp.net.
To request a letter of verification of graduation, see Graduation Verification Letters.
A graduation verification letter does not replace the need for transcripts.
For most states, you will still need to request that your official UCSF transcript -- with degree posted -- is sent to the board in each state in which you apply for licensure. Contact the Office of the Registrar separately to make your request.
Refer to the instructions from NABP and the state to which you are applying.
Note: Read the NAPLEX instructions carefully. You must request score transfer before you take the NAPLEX exam.
See instructions from the California Board of Pharmacy for information on getting intern hours transferred: How do I have my intern hours transferred to another state?
Note: There may be limits to the number of hours earned in California that can be counted toward experience requirements in other states. Check the policies of the states to which you are applying for detailed information.
