Security Cables

Using a security cable is an important part of computer security because it provides a physical barrier to thieves who might want to walk away with your computer.

Recommendation

For any portable computer that includes a locking mechanism (e.g., Kensington security slot), we recommend a security cable such as those made by Kensington.
