How Do I Get Help With...?

Unfortunately, the School of Pharmacy cannot provide support for purchasing, downloading, installing, configuring, upgrading, or troubleshooting your computer's hardware or software. We do not have the resources to provide this support. We can assist you only with configuration issues related to e-mail or other UCSF network resources.

For assistance with all other issues, contact any computer dealer or find answers on the web (see the sidebar on this page).

Most computers when purchased new include a service plan with the vendor from which it was purchased. If your computer is still covered by such an arrangement (check your receipts and documentation), use it! -- you've already paid for it.

When buying a new computer, consider what services you may need, whether a service plan is included, what services are included in the service plan, and whether you can extend that plan after it expires.
