Resolve E-mail Problems
How to resolve problems using your UCSF e-mail account.
Common Problems

Mailbox too full
You've received an e-mail message from the e-mail administrator saying that your account has reached its limit of storage space for messages.

Lost or forgotten password
You lost or forgot your password.

Resolve spam problems
(a) I'm getting too much spam and (b) Legitimate messages aren't going into my inbox.

Attachments are missing
You receive an e-mail that should have had an attachment, but instead of the attachment, you see a message saying that the attachment was removed or deleted or won't display correctly.

Unable to send attachments
When you attempt to send an e-mail with an attachment, a message appears saying that the attachment is potentially unsafe.

Message is undeliverable
You've received a message stating "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients" or a similar error message.

To report or resolve any other problems with e-mail, contact UCSF Customer Support at 415/514-4100 (Option 2). If possible, be at an internet-connected computer with your e-mail application open.
