BPS 121 Pharmacokinetics:
An introduction to the principles of pharmacokinetics with the goal of producing a student pharmacist who is capable of using the fundamentals proficiently.

PHYS 121 Mammalian Physiology I:
Physiology 121 is part I of a two-part course in mammalian physiology. It will cover: anatomy and function of the nervous system; the endocrine glands and their secretions; bone and muscle physiology; the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
Lecture: 4 hours. 1 to 2 hours per week in lab or 1 to 2 hours in conference. 5 units

PCOL 121 Endocrine and Immunopharmacology:
The course includes an introduction to the general principles of pharmacology and a discussion of endocrine drugs and drugs that inhibit inflammatory and immune responses. Specific topics include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, acetaminophen, histamine antagonists, adrenal and gonadal steroids, thyroid gland agonists and antagonists, and treatment of gout, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders and pituitary disorders. This course will be closely aligned with Pharmaceutical Chemistry 121.

PC 121 Endocrine and Immunologic Agents:
The basic focus of this course is consideration of structure-function relationships in various drug classes and their antagonists involved in treatment of endocrine diseases and in the inhibition of inflammation and immune response. The course is closely coordinated with Pharmacology 121.

MICRO 121 Immunology:
This course teaches the principles of basic immunology needed for the practice of pharmacy, as well as case studies covering immunology in the practice of clinical pharmacy.
