• BPS 111 Biopharmaceutics: This course is about how drug dosage forms can be used as drug delivery systems. It will explain routes of administration, pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, bioavailbility, bioequivalency, rate and extent of availability, onset and duration of effect, getting to the site of absorption, dissolution, disintegration, first-pass effect, passive diffusion and active transport.

• BPS 112 Biostatistics: This course is an introductory course in biostatistics covering topics such as elementary probability theory, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, t-tests, Z- and chi-square tests, regression and correlation, nonparametric methods, estimation and confidence intervals, and computer-aided solutions.

• CP 110 Pharmaceutical Calculations: This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of pharmaceutical calculations and equip students with the tools to perform pharmacy practice-related calculations quickly and accurately.

• CP 111 Pharmacy Practice: Students are exposed to and develop skills in pharmacy practice. Topics are professional conduct, introductory pharmacy law, communications, physical assessment skills, therapeutics of OTC products and career opportunities in pharmacy.
