What We Do

  • Act as a resource for applicants, students, faculty and staff
  • Provide information on the PharmD program, curriculum and pathways
  • Administer PharmD admissions; coordinate recruitment and outreach programs
  • Answer questions about pre-requisites and minimum eligibility requirements
  • Administer the academic program, maintain academic records, approve study lists and add/drop requests; monitor student academic progress
  • Schedule PharmD courses and coordinate examination dates, produce quarterly schedules
  • Advise students on academic and personal matters
  • Coordinate quarterly course and teaching evaluations for all PharmD courses
  • Provide support services for students including tutoring services, advising and referrals to campus resources; coordinate orientation, graduation, white coat ceremony and awards programs
  • Provide career information, programs and advising for students seeking internships and professional positions
  • Provide advising and support to student organizations; encourage and mentor student leadership
  • Coordinate student technical services including computer requirements, e-mail accounts and other teaching/learning technologies
  • Verify student standing and act as liaison to California Board of Pharmacy for intern hours, licensure, examination and graduation
  • Provide information on scholarships, grants and student awards
  • Sponsor student participation in professional meetings and conferences via reimbursement and scholarships

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific time

Our office:

  • Is closed on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Observes University holidays (see the Academic and Administrative Calendar)
  • Observes daylight savings time
  • May be closed occasionally during normal business hours for staff meetings or special events
  • Observes end-of-year holidays by reducing staffing or closing the office.
