Have the Best Fun of Your Post-Graduate Life!

Welcome and congratulations on being accepted into the UCSF School of Pharmacy. Why not start out your first year with a bang?

Students entering in fall 2009 are invited to attend the Camping Trip. It is:

• A great way to meet your future classmates and, more importantly, future friends
• An opportunity to hang out with 2nd- and 3rd-year students, who are excellent sources of advice for the coming year
• Tons of fun: team building, daytime and nighttime activities, s'mores, and food served on beautiful paper plates with restroom facilities nearby in the wilderness outside San Francisco

Obviously, this is not your Survivor-type of camping trip, and we will accommodate everyone's needs, so respond quickly because space is limited!

Who?	For all interested student pharmacists of the Class of 2013.
What?	The camping trip includes all meals; transportation to and from the campsite; group equipment rentals; team-building activities; campfires; and many fun activities to help us get to know each other.
Where?	Campsite: Anthony Chabot Regional Park, 9999 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA 94546
When?	Registration Deadline: Wednesday, September 1, 2010 Register for orientation Departing: Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 8:00 AM sharp (please be on time!) Meeting Place: Loading zone in front of the Dental Clinics Building at 707 Parnassus Avenue. (See the map that was sent to you in email.) Returning: Wednesday, September 15, 2010 no later than 2:00 PM
Cost?	US$45.00 covers your meals, transportation to and from the campsite, group equipment rentals, and campsite fees and supplies. A limited number of sleeping bag rentals are available at an additional $13.00.

How and when to sign up?

Register for Orientation as soon as possible.

Receiving Your Confirmation Notice

After we receive your registration form, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail or telephone from orientation directors Anthony Dao and Marlene Morcos within a few days. If you haven't received a confirmation within a week of mailing your form, contact them at orientation@pharmacy.ucsf.edu.

After the Camping Trip

We encourage you to open a free or paid account with Flickr and upload your photos to the UCSF School of Pharmacy Class of 2013 photo group.
