Jeanne Cleary Act

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act was signed into United States federal law in 1990 as a result of the efforts of Howard and Connie Clery, whose daughter Jeanne Ann Clery was murdered in her dorm room at Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) on April 5, 1986. The act requires colleges and universities to distribute information about violent campus crimes and drug and alcohol offenses. More information: The Jeanne Clery Act and UCSF.

Data Security

Everyone at UCSF has a responsibility to keep confidential data secure. As a student pharmacist and after graduation you will handle patient records, research data, and other forms of data that are protected by law from unauthorized intentional or accidental disclosure. Police Department Crime Bulletins

Each year, the UCSF Police department compiles a crime report to promote awareness of crime activities. We strongly encourage you to read the report so that you know what safety precautions you can take. Your awareness can help prevent future crimes.

If you have a laptop, we strongly recommend that you:
