Focused electives enable pathway students to take additional coursework in the areas of health policy and management to develop the skill sets outlined for the pathway. Students plan their focused electives in conjunction with their pathway advisor. Focused electives may include didactic courses taken from any school within UCSF, as well as APPEs in which the educational goals are relevant to those of the pathway.
