Pathway Curriculum

In addition to the core curriculum, PharmD students complete a pathway in one of three areas:

The pathways allow students to pursue an area of emphasis within the program consistent with their professional interests. Students select a pathway in January of the 2nd year. Each pathway consists of a set of required courses as well as electives approved for the pathway. A variety of electives are offered early in the program to assist students in the selection of a pathway.

The Pharmaceutical Care pathway can accomodate all interested students. However, due to resource limitations, enrollment in the Pharmaceutical Health Policy & Management and Pharmaceutical Sciences pathways is not guaranteed. As part of the pathway declaration process, students interested in these two pathways participate in an interview process with members of the pathway faculty.
