The filing period opens. You may begin the application process by beginning your PharmCAS application.

Thu Jul 14, 2011

The UCSF Supplemental Application is made available.

Tue Nov 1, 2011

The filing period closes. Submit your PharmCAS Application by midnight Eastern time on this date. Submit your Supplemental Application by midnight Pacific time on this date. All transcripts must be received by PharmCAS and UCSF by this date. See Checklist: Transcripts for details.

Dec 2011 to Jan 2012

  • We mail interview invitations.
  • Academic Update Window opens: Applicants with changes to their course schedules must enter them in PharmCAS. Fall 2011 grades should also be entered. As soon as fall grades are posted, send your transcripts to PharmCAS. See Submitting Transcripts for the PharmCAS Application for details.

Jan to Feb 2012

Interviews held at UCSF School of Pharmacy.

Mar to Apr 2012

Admissions decisions are finalized and mailed by April 1.

May 2012

If admitted, expect to receive a variety of mailings and forms which you must complete and return to maintain your admission status.

May to Sep 2012

  • Admitted and alternate students must submit official transcripts to UCSF. PharmCAS does not forward transcripts. More detailed information and specific deadlines will be provided to admitted and alternate students.
  • Alternates on the waiting list are sent regular updates on their statuses.

Sat Sep 1, 2012

All prerequisite requirements must be completed.

Sep 2012 (exact dates to be announced)

If admitted, attend Orientation activities.

Sep 2012 (exact date to be announced)

Fall quarter instruction begins.
