Benet Delivers Distinguished Lecture

Thursday, October 25, 2007

Benet Leslie Z. Benet, PhD, faculty member in the UCSF School of Pharmacy delivered the Seventh Distinguished Clinical Research Lecture to the UCSF faculty on October 17, 2007 on UCSF's Parnassus campus. The lecture is UCSF's highest recognition for excellence in clinical research. Entitled, "Clearance Isn't Only a Big Sale and Transporters Aren't Limited to Trucks," Benet's remarks reflected both his well-known wit and his seminal contributions to the development of clinically relevant pharmacokinetic parameters such as clearance. The lecture is awarded by the San Francisco division of the Academic Senate.
