Guo Research Key to Nobel Prize

UCSF School of Pharmacy faculty member Su Guo, PhD, is credited by Andrew Fire, PhD, Stanford University scientist and 2006 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine for her early work on RNA as a graduate student at Cornell University. Fire notes that his own RNA work, for which he is honored by a Nobel Prize, built upon that of Guo and other colleagues.
