A: You can videoconference with any UC system, anywhere in the USA, and anywhere in the world.
Q: Can you show slides?
A: Yes, you can use the document camera to show slides and any hard copy document.
Q: Can you show video?
A: You can use the VCR deck to play a video tape.
Q: Can you show DVD?
A: You can use the computer DVD player to show the DVD.
Q: Can you record videoconference?
A: Yes you can, but you can only record one site at a time. You can select either a local site or a remote site.
Q: How much does it cost to do videoconferencing?
Most likely it might cost you for operator time on each site. Click here to contact the remote site.
Q: What steps do you need to take before you can start videoconferencing?
- 1. Contact the remotes site to get the contact information including full name, phone number, e-mail address, and pager number if there is one.
- 2. Get IP address or ISDN number from the remote site
- 3. Check out the remote site schedule and the IRC schedule to make sure the time slot match.

Q: If videoconferencing is down, can you use voice conferencing?
A: Yes, you can. You can connect the remote site via phone line and do voice conferencing. The IRC audio system is linked to all workstations.
