Pharmacy Information Day

Pharmacy Information Day is a presentation event for prospective students of the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at UCSF. The event describes:

  1. The unique role of clinical pharmacists in health care
  2. The many options for career specialization
  3. The workforce demand for clinical pharmacists
  4. The earning potential for pharmacy professionals
  5. What it takes to prepare yourself for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at UCSF
  6. How to fund your education

On hand to discuss the profession and the UCSF PharmD program will be pharmacists, faculty members, student pharmacists, admissions representatives, and financial aid advisors.

Date, Time, and Location

Pharmacy Information Day events for 2008 have passed. The events occur in spring. To be notified of future dates, times, and locations of this event, sign up on our notification form.

How much does it cost?

There is a non-refundable fee of up to US$25 per person attending, depending on the location. Registration fees cover all program materials, lunch, and parking. A limited number of scholarships are available for students from low-income backgrounds to attend. For details, please contact us.

Who may participate?

All interested students and their families or guests may participate. Registration is required.
