How can I participate?

This page describes how UCSF School of Pharmacy students, faculty, and staff can participate in how we use Flickr.

  1. Review our participation guidelines.
  2. Sign up with Flickr, either with a free or pro account, then upload your photos and videos.
  3. Join one or more of the Flickr groups we've created. Examples:
    1. Join by who you are: PharmD professional student, PhD graduate student, faculty, or staff.
    2. Join by where you are: Parnassus, Mission Bay, Laurel Heights. (More locations are listed in the School's Flickr profile.)
    3. Join by the research group to which you belong. Examples: Babbitt, Benet, Brodsky, Burlingame, Craik, Dill. More: Our Flickr Groups.
    4. Join by when you graduate: PharmD Class of 2008, PharmD Class of 2009, PharmD Class of 2010, PharmD Class of 2011.
    5. If you want to contribute to our home page, join the UCSF School of Pharmacy group.
For a complete list of School-managed Flickr groups, see Our Flickr Groups.
  4. Submit your photos and videos to the appropriate groups. (See How do I share a photo with a group?)

That's it! Your photos and videos will automatically appear on any web page displaying a Flickr badge or a feed of the group's photos or videos.

Example: If you submitted to UCSF Parnassus or UCSF Mission Bay, see your photo now on our Virtual Tour page.

If you have a blog or are in charge of a student organization website or your own website, also see Flickr for Web Developers.
