Faculty
The UCSF School of Pharmacy faculty is a rich and diverse blend of scientists and clinicians that includes experts in bioengineering, chemical biology, proteomics, pharmacogenetics, HIV/AIDS, pain management, infectious diseases, health policy, and medication outcomes -- as a beginning.
The success of individual faculty members can be measured in many ways, including their continued ability to secure more National Institutes of Health research funding than any other pharmacy school in the United States every year since 1979.
They are leaders as well outside the classroom, laboratory, and hospital ward as they serve on government bodies, in professional organizations, and consult to business and industry.
