The Thomas A. Oliver Informatics Resource Center (IRC) is a multipurpose instructional facility which enables our faculty and students to teach and learn in the presence of a wide variety of computer and communications technology:

- 38 networked student workstation computers (37 Windows, 1 Mac)
- a movable instructor's workstation computer and podium
- 1 color and 2 black-and-white laser printers
- a flatbed scanner for digitizing text and images
- a sheetfed duplex document scanner
- CD-ROM and DVD burners
Communications Technology
- large-screen projection from any video source
- ISDN and Internet video teleconferencing
- video cameras offering multiple views of the room
- audio headsets with microphones
- wired and wireless microphones
- ceiling speakers
